Our Lifesaving Society Certified Lifeguards bring the safety vibes to your backyard vibe - wherever it is!
We ensure the safety of all of your guests at any pool or waterfront, regardless of the weather (but not during thunder or lightning).
With AquaGuard Swim Co. Lifeguards, you will have peace of mind knowing that our lifeguard eyes are protecting the safety of your backyard vibes!

My name is Ashwyn Howard - the owner and founder of AquaGuard Swim Co. I am a dedicated and caring lifeguard and swimming instructor. My experience includes lifeguarding at public swimming pools (Peterborough Sports & Wellness, Trent University), public waterfront beaches, and community wading pools.
My priority is to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids can learn at their own pace while building real confidence in the water. As a mobile lifeguard and swim instructor, I know how important it is for kids to learn to trust and understand their bodies—but always in a safe way. Many children take risky shortcuts to figure this out on their own. My goal is to offer them a place to grow without those dangers.
That dedication to children’s safety and growth is why I’m studying to become an Environmental Science and Physical Education teacher at Lakehead University. I want every child I teach to feel empowered to move safely and skillfully—whether that’s in the pool or on the slopes. Along with swimming lessons, I bring this same philosophy to my work as a Level 2 Snowboarding Instructor and Level 1 Snowboarding Park Instructor at Mount Baldy.
Whether I’m teaching swimming or providing lifeguard services for your event, you can feel confident knowing safety is always my top priority. My training and experience mean kids are not only learning life-saving skills but also enjoying an environment designed to keep them safe, supported, and growing.
